You requested a price from a local business using PriceMyWash, a tool that the business uses on its website. This page explains what happens to your information.

1. Who is responsible for your information

The business you asked for a quote (shown at the top of the price form) decides how your information is used. PriceMyWash, provided by TBD — fill before launch (legal name as registered), only stores it and passes it to that business, as its service provider.

2. What we collect

• Your name, phone number, email address and service address (or ZIP code), as you entered them.
• Your answers (for example the services you picked and the size of your home) and the price range you were shown.
• The web page you used, and a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address to block spam.
• A record of what you agreed to (the wording shown and the time).

3. How it is used

Your request is sent to the business by email and saved in its PriceMyWash dashboard so it can contact you, confirm the price and schedule the work. The price shown is the business's estimate; the final price is confirmed by the business.

If the business turned that option on, we also send you one confirmation email with the price you were shown and the business's name and phone number. It comes from PriceMyWash on the business's behalf, and a reply goes to the business. We send it once per request and never email you again.

4. Calls, texts and emails

When you submit the form, you agree that the business may contact you about this quote by phone call, text message or email, which may be sent using automated technology. Message and data rates may apply. If you also ticked the optional box, the business may send you offers and seasonal reminders; that box is never required.

You can stop contact at any time: reply STOP to a text, use the unsubscribe link in an email, or tell the business you no longer want to be contacted. PriceMyWash itself never calls or texts you, and only emails you the single confirmation described in section 3.

5. What we don't do

• We don't sell your information and don't share it with any other business.
• We don't use it to advertise to you. The only email we may send you is the one confirmation of your request described in section 3, and only if the business turned that option on.
• We don't use cookies to track you (see section 8).

6. How long it is kept

The business keeps your request for up to 24 months by default, or less if it chooses, and can delete it at any time. After that it is deleted from PriceMyWash. (The business may also copy your details into its own records, such as its scheduling software; its own policies then apply.)

7. Your choices and rights

You can ask the business to show you, correct or delete your information. Depending on your state, you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete it. If you can't reach the business, or want our help, email privacy@pricemywash.com with the business's name and the email or phone number you used; we will pass your request to the business and help it respond.

8. Cookies

The price form sets no cookies. To count how many visitors see the form, it keeps a random number only for as long as your browser tab is open. If the business is testing whether the form helps, a random test group ("A" or "B") may be saved in your browser so the page looks the same next time. Neither identifies you.

9. Contact

10. For businesses: wording for your privacy policy

Copy this into your website's privacy policy (and adjust it to your business). It is a suggestion, not legal advice.

Online quotes. When you request a price on our website, the information you enter (name, phone number, email address, address and your answers) is collected by PriceMyWash, our quote software provider, and sent to us so we can contact you about your quote by phone, text or email. PriceMyWash processes this information only on our behalf and does not sell it. The quote form sets no cookies; it counts visits to our pages without identifying you. You can ask us to access or delete your information at any time by contacting us at [your email or phone].
