What’s on the sheet

  • House wash by stories and size: the lines you quote most.
  • Roof soft wash for 1- and 2-story homes.
  • Flatwork: driveways by car count, patio and walkways.
  • Other: deck or fence, gutter brightening.
  • Add-ons: heavy mildew, Hardie siding, oil stains.
  • Minimum job and one line of fine print: “Starting prices. Final price confirmed on site.”

How to fill it in

  1. Pick your metro at the top. The sheet fills in typical prices from the price calculator.
  2. Change the anchor first: your medium 1-story house wash. Then the 2-story line, then everything else.
  3. Set a minimum you won’t go under, and add only the add-ons you actually charge.
  4. Choose “from” prices for door hangers and trucks, or ranges for your website and texts.
  5. Print it, or choose “Save as PDF” in the print dialog.

Not sure about the anchor? How to price a house wash walks through it step by step.

Customer-facing vs internal price sheet

Keep two versions. The customer-facing sheet shows “from” prices or ranges and the fine print, and fits on a door hanger, a Facebook post or a text. The internal sheet has your real maths: per-square-foot rates, chemical costs, your hourly target and the upcharges you apply on site. Competitors can read a door hanger; they don’t need your rate book. The sheet above is the customer-facing one.

One owner on PressureWashingResource put prices on door hangers from day one: “Door hangers with instant quotes for the house and driveway on them. 99% of calls turn into jobs.” (PWR, 2022). That’s one owner’s experience, not a statistic, but it shows why printed prices are worth trying.

Turn this sheet into an instant quote calculator

A sheet answers “how much?” for a house wash. A calculator answers it for their house: homeowners tap services, stories and size and see their own range, then send their number. PriceMyWash starts your calculator with typical prices for your city, and you set your own numbers in the 9-question price wizard.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Is the price list really free?

Yes. No email, no sign-up. Fill it in on the page and print it or save it as a PDF from your browser’s print dialog.

Should I show “from” prices or ranges?

“From” prices work on door hangers and trucks, where space is short. Ranges work better on your website, where you can say what moves a price up.

Can I get it as a Google Sheet or Word file?

Not yet. The on-page sheet prints cleanly on letter paper and saves as a PDF. Tell us if you need a spreadsheet version.

How often should I update my price list?

Once a year before spring is enough for most owners, plus whenever chemical or fuel costs jump.
