HelpLeads, alert emails and the Monday report

Every request reaches you by email within seconds, with the price the homeowner saw. The leads list is where you call them back and mark what happened.

What a lead alert contains

One email per request: the homeowner’s name and mobile, the job in plain words (“2-story house wash, 3-bed, vinyl”), the price range they saw, the page they came from, and what they agreed to. Reply to it and your reply goes straight to the homeowner — the Reply-To is their address, not ours.

We only send email. There are no text-message or push alerts yet, and we don’t promise them. The fastest thing most owners do is call back from the alert on their phone.

The alert didn’t arrive

  • Check the leads list first. If the lead is on Leads, the request arrived and only the email failed. You never lose a lead because an email bounced.
  • Look for the badge. A lead whose alert gave up shows “Alert email failed”, and a banner appears above the list. That usually means the mailbox rejected us — full, mistyped, or a company filter.
  • Check spam and Promotions. Then mark one alert as “not spam”; later ones land properly.
  • Check who is on the list. An address added on step 9 that never confirmed is still showing as Waiting and gets nothing.

Sending alerts to someone else

On Prices (step 9 of the wizard, or the same field in the price editor) you can add extra addresses — your wife’s inbox, an office manager, a shared mailbox. Each one gets a confirmation email first and sits at Waiting until it presses the link, so nobody can be signed up for someone else’s emails. You’ll see Waiting, Confirmed or Declined next to each address, with Resend and Remove.

The owners and admins of the workspace always get alerts once their own email is verified. If a second person should also see the leads list, invite them on Team instead.

Working a lead

Leads is a stack of cards on a phone and a table on a computer. Tap a card to open the whole request: their answers, the price shown, the page, what they consented to, your notes.

  • Call · Text · Maps — one tap each, straight from the card.
  • New → Contacted → Booked or Lost. Booked can carry what you actually charged, which is what the Monday report counts as won.
  • Spam takes a junk request out of the list; Not spam puts it back.
  • Delete removes a lead for good. It asks first, and it can’t be undone.

Every time on screen, in the alert emails and in the CSV is in your workspace’s time zone. We guess it from your business ZIP; change it on Prices if you work in another one.

Getting your leads out (CSV)

Download CSV on the leads list gives you every lead with its answers, price and status. It opens in Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers, and imports into most job-management tools, including Jobber. It’s on every plan, Free included. A direct push into Jobber is planned, not built — anyone who tells you otherwise is describing the roadmap.

The Monday report

Once a week we email you the last seven days: page views, prices shown, requests, booked, what you marked as won, roughly how much was asked for through the calculator, the page most leads came from, and one thing worth doing next. A quiet week says so plainly instead of dressing it up. Every one of those emails has a one-click stop the Monday email link, and stopping it changes nothing else.

We never claim the calculator got you more leads than you’d have had otherwise. Reports shows requests through the calculator next to submits of your own forms on the same pages, and refuses to show a rate at all when there is too little traffic to mean anything.

Does the homeowner get an email?

Only if you turn it on (step 9 — it’s off by default). Then they get one copy of the price they saw, with your business name and phone and “the final price is confirmed on site”. It is never a booking confirmation, it is sent once per request, and replies go to you.

Spam and junk requests

The request form is rate-limited and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, so most bots never get through. What does get through is usually a real person testing you. Mark it Spam; if you get a run of them, send two or three examples to support@pricemywash.com and we’ll look at the pattern.

How long leads are kept

24 months by default, then they’re deleted automatically. You can shorten that to 3, 6 or 12 months under Keep leads for on your Account page — the change is applied by the next nightly clean-up, so nothing disappears the moment you save it. You can delete any lead yourself at any time, and everything goes with your account if you close it. What that means for the homeowner’s data — and for you as the business responsible for it — is on your data and privacy.

On the Free plan we count 10 leads a month, but every request still reaches you past that, with a note in the alert. Nothing is held back over money — see plans and billing.

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Can I get a text message instead of an email?

Not yet. Lead alerts are email only and we don’t promise more than we have built. Most owners call back straight from the alert on their phone.

Can my wife or office manager get the alerts too?

Add the address on step 9 of the wizard or in the price editor. It gets a confirmation email first and receives nothing until it presses the link, so nobody can sign someone else up.

A lead is in the dashboard but no email arrived.

The request arrived and only the email failed — you never lose a lead to a bounced alert. The lead shows an “Alert email failed” badge; check spam, and check the address is right.

Can I get my leads into Jobber?

Download CSV and import it. A direct push into Jobber is planned for the Pro plan, not built.
