What claiming does
A demo page (/d/your-business) is a working calculator with your business name and the prices that are typical where you work. It isn’t connected to anything: requests on a demo page go nowhere. Claiming it makes a real calculator in your own workspace, with its own price link (/q/your-business), its own dashboard and its own leads. Nothing you do to the prices afterwards changes anyone else’s page.
Claiming is free and needs no card. You land on the Free plan: one calculator, the price link and QR code, 10 leads a month, email alerts and the Monday report. See plans and billing if you want the cap gone.
Claiming, step by step
- Open your demo link and press Claim it free. Your business name and email are already filled in — correct them if they’re wrong, they’re read from a public listing.
- Pick a password, or use Continue with Google if that’s the address you want alerts sent to.
- Open the confirmation email and press the link. It’s valid for 2 hours. If it has expired, sign in again and we send a new one.
- You land on Your calculator is ready with your price link. From there, set your prices (about five minutes) or share the link first — both work in either order.
The confirmation email didn’t arrive
- Check spam and, in Gmail, the Promotions tab. The sender is our domain, not yours.
- Company mailboxes (
info@,office@) are often filtered by someone else’s rules. Sign up with the address you actually read on your phone. - Still nothing after ten minutes? Sign in at the sign-in page — signing in sends a fresh link — or email support@pricemywash.com from that address.
The demo link still says “Claim it free”
Once a calculator is claimed, its old demo address says it has been claimed and stops offering the claim button, and the demo’s price link sends homeowners to your real one. If you see the claim button on your page while signed in, you are probably looking at a different business’s demo — check the business name at the top. Nobody else can claim yours: a demo can be claimed once.
Cold emails already in the queue are stopped when you claim, but one that was sent before you claimed can still land. Ignore it, or use the opt-out link at the bottom.
The business name or city is wrong
Demo pages are built from public business listings, so an old name, a franchise name or a neighbouring city happens. Both are yours to change after you claim:
- Business name and phone — Prices → business details. The name is what homeowners see above the calculator and in their confirmation email; the phone is what the “Call instead” button dials.
- City and the ZIP codes you drive to — the area question in the price wizard, or the same field in the price editor.
- Your price link (
/q/…) keeps the name it was created with. If it’s wrong enough to matter, email support@pricemywash.com before you print it on anything.
Signing in later, on another device
Everything is on the web — there is no app to install. Sign in at app.pricemywash.com on any phone or computer. On a phone, add it to your home screen and it opens like an app. Forgot the password? Use Forgot password; if you signed up with Google, use Continue with Google instead.
A second person in the business can have their own sign-in: Team → invite them by email. They see the same leads and prices.
I don’t want the page at all
Every demo page has Remove this page at the bottom, and every cold email has an opt-out link. Both are one click, need no account, and are permanent: the address stops working, and we never email that business again. If you have already claimed and want the whole account gone, see your data.
